The Jade UC camera is now available with the flexibility of USB 2.0 digital output.

The Jade UC camera is now available with the flexibility of USB 2.0 digital output.

Operating with Cedip's intuitive Altair software the camera now fully uses the USB 2.0 drivers to control and display high resolution IR imagery as well as to offer ratiometrically calibrated data.

Benefiting from a sensitive microbolometer focal plane array sensor the Jade UC infra-red camera is able to offer high sensitivity, low response time and good image resolution at a truly low price.

Using a focal plane sensor of 320 x 240 pixel, operating in the 8-12um waveband, the Jade UC camera offers best-of-class performance with thermal sensitivity of less than 80mK and a thermal response time of less than 4ms.

Operating at up to 100 frames per second at full image, with output digitised over a complete 14bit dynamic range the Jade UC provides the resolution to detect even the smallest area of defect or nonuniformity.

To extend the applications flexibility of the system a complete range of lenses are available.

Packaged in a sealed unit the robust Jade UC offers IP54 standard protection against the ingress of rain and humidity.

This makes it the perfect IR camera for automation and machine vision applications including paper production, glass inspection, food processing and plastics manufacturing.
