A new series of cameras is optimised for tracking, long-range surveillance, FLIR and IR signature analysis applications.

Based on Cedip's considerable experience in developing advanced, yet robust, radiometric solutions the new LR Series combine high performance with unmatched operational flexibility.

Incorporating sensitive InSb focal plane array sensor, state-of-the-art 14bit digital electronics and motorised optics in a compact, weatherproof housing the LR Series camera are the perfect choice for thermal IR measurement in airborne, naval or ground operations.

Moreover the LR series cameras are fully compliant to military specifications.

Based around a novel trifocal design each LR series camera uses motorised lenses (25, 80 and 320mm focal length), switchable by a single command, to provide optimal detection or recognition capabilities at distances ranging from 5 to 25km.

Operating with Cedip's intuitive Altair software LR Series cameras provide 14bit digital data stream out to display IR imagery as well as to offer radiometrically calibrated data.

The LR Series comprises two models, the Jade LR and for applications requiring the highest resolution the Emerald LR.
