Available now from Cedip Infrared Systems is the latest issue of "Through the lens", an e-newsletter dedicated to infra-red imaging.
Available now from Cedip Infrared Systems is the latest issue of "Through the lens", an e-newsletter dedicated to infra-red imaging.
Each issue of the e-newsletter is compiled and written to provide engineers and scientists around the world with an update on the latest technological developments, new products and applications advances to aid them in their work.
In the new issue the feature article describes a new and innovative application of IR reflectography applied to the renovation of fine art paintings.
This research application, describing work from the State University of Milan, is only made possible using high performance IR cameras with particular sensitivity in the near-IR region.
The regular "Advances in IR technology" column focuses on a new technological development that is enabling live imaging and concentration measurement of gaseous emissions.
Examples of applications of the new IR gas imaging technique in the oil and gas industry are discussed.
Further features include "hints and tips" - a question and answer technical forum and hot off the press news from Cedip Infrared Systems.
