The SILVER 450M from Cedip Infrared Systems has been designed for the most demanding users of thermal IR camera technology.

The Silver 450M from Cedip Infrared Systems has been designed for the most demanding users of thermal IR camera technology.

The Silver 450M is an affordable, advanced IR camera based on Cedip's proprietary high performance cryogenically cooled staring focal plane array detectors.

Incorporating the latest ROIC technology the Silver 450M's 320 x 240 pixel format InSb detector (3-5um) delivers an outstanding 400Hz full frame rate while maintaining extraordinary linearity and high sensitivity of typically 15mK.

Built for operational flexibility the Silver 450M is programmable from 1 to 400Hz in full frame mode, offers a subarray windowing mode with integration time adjustable in 1us increments and smart external triggering capability synchronising image capture to even the most transient events.

The Silver 450M offers true plug and play compatibility with standard computers as well as third party frame grabbers and image processing software.

Using either Camlink or USB2.0 interfaces the Silver 450M is able to transmit commands and transfer video images at 40MHz pixel rate and full 14bit dynamic range.

Comprehensive image analysis software dedicated to thermal measurement comes as standard.

The Silver 450M is fully compatible with Cedip's industry-leading Altair software for radiometric measurement and digital image recording even at full frame rate.

Incorporating an integral optical front end the Silver 450M allows rapid and precise focusing of the lens, which can be controlled remotely.

Additional lenses can be added through a bayonet mount enabling the Silver 450M to be used for applications ranging from microscopic examination up to long-range measurements.

A removable filter wheel, entirely accessible to the user for exchanging filters, has been implemented for applications requiring multispectral filtering.

The calibration curves for Silver 450M camera can be determined and loaded directly from software, further extending the possibilities for research and development applications where flexibility is needed.
