Now operators can feel the kickdown in pedals
In addition to analogue output and directional switches, all Caldaro's pedals can now be fitted with a mechanical detent so that the operator feels the kickdown area
Caldaro has extended its line of pedals to also include an optional kickdown function for all models.
In addition to the analogue output and directional switches, all models can now be fitted with a mechanical detent so that the operator feels the kickdown area.
The mechanism is integrated into the housing and does not require any extra spacing for mounting.
For a gas pedal it can be important that the operator really feels when the kickdown switch is going ON and not only realise it.
There are four variants of pedals.
Two floor-mounted as well as a wall-mounted for throttle function, and a see-saw pedal for right or left- alternatively forward or reverse-function.
One of the floor-mounted and the wall-mounted pedal can also be made with progressive spring force for brake function.
The Caldaro pedals have a very robust construction and they are primarily designed for use in different types of vehicles such as fork-lift trucks, forestry machines, excavators, backhoe loaders, as well in ON- and OFF-shore cranes.
In addition to the analogue out-put, we can also supply a CAN-bus interface to the pedal for communication with the digital CAN-bus.
This CAN-bus interface is in accordance with ISO 11898 and has a capability to support up to 4 analogue and 8 switch functions.
The CAN-bus interface fulfils the EMC demands in accordance with ISO/DIS 14982 "Agricultural and Forestry machines" and ISO/DIS 13766 "Earth-moving machinery".
