CD Adapco is to attend the 41st AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference, from 10th to 13th July2005, in Tucson, Arizona The theme of this years conference is "enabling propulsion the technologies that will make possible significant advances in aviation"

In line with this, CD Adapco will be profiling the technology CFD codes Star-CD and Star-CCM+.

Star-CCM+ is an all new solver, developed by the world's leading CFD experts from a completely blank sheet of a paper.

Based on the latest technology, Star-CCM+'s coupled solvers are specifically aimed at high speed compressible flow situations.

Star-CCM+ accepts user meshes of any topology, including CD Adapco's revolutionary polyhedral cells.

Extensive validation has demonstrated that polyhedra are up to ten times quicker that tetrahedral meshes for equivalent or better accuracy.

Star-CD is the industry standard code for complex physics and combustion applications.

With an unrivaled history of industrial application and validation.

Star-CD's open structure makes it uniquely expandable and customisable by users.

Dr Dennis Nagy, CD Adapco's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, is enthusiastic about the conference: "CD Adapco are proud to be exhibiting at the 41st AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference".

"The theme of the conference perfectly matches our vision as a company: enabling technology".

"Our latest flow simulation technology has been developed specifically with the aerospace and propulsion communities in mind and are excited to have the opportunity to demonstrate it in front of some of the world's leading experts".
