Magnetic drive pumps can be lined with PFA

A CDR Pumps (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 9, 2005

The UTN series of nonmetallic lined magnetic drive pumps now offers the option of a PFA lining, which gives a wider temperature range and excellent corrosion characteristics.

CDR Pumps has extended the already reputable UTN series of nonmetallic lined magnetic drive pumps to include PFA lining option, which gives a wider temperature range and excellent corrosion characteristics.

The UTN series pump is already well proven throughout the European chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and is the workhorse of many such plants.

A major extension of the series is the addition of the series 200 casing, which gives even higher pressures and flows.

With the increased hydraulics come the need for motor power, which have limits of 18.5kW for close coupled designs, and 37kW for long coupled designs.

CDR is believed to be one of the world's few companies that can offer these pumps with polypropylene lining, which gives an instant commercial benefit, and is more than suitable for many of the products commonly handled in industry.

Interchangeability of parts is a key design brief, to ensure that inventory levels are kept to a minimum on site, and ensuring that competitive delivery guarantees can be offered to CDR's customers.

All CDR pumps comply with the ATEX Directive, and are manufactured in accordance with stringent quality control procedures.
