CDR Pumps has recently completed the final phase of delivering a substantial order for metallic magnetic drive pump units, for a new biodiesel production plant in France.

CDR Pumps has manufactured a total of 27 UTS-B stainless steel pumps, all ATEX rated and mounted on individual baseplates.

The CDR Pumps range particularly lends itself to the biodiesel production process, manufacturing state of the art chemical process pumps capable of safely handling potassium hydroxide and ethanol, the main hazardous ingredients, which both carry their own set of long term pumping challenges Export Sales Manager Silvana Disanto comments: "The biodiesel market is benefiting from substantial growth with financial encouragement from all European governments".

"The CDR product is particularly suited to the application of making biodiesel fuel as the magnetic drive provides the assurances of leak-free pumping for high temperature products and solvents".

"With our extensive sales network, this order from France is the latest in a growing list of orders being won all across Europe, and building the CDR Pumps success dossier in the biodiesel market".
