Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 CADwire.net Tech Innovator Award.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 CADwire.net Tech Innovator Award.

Nominations can be submitted at anytime but must be received by 25th February 2005 to be eligible for the COFES2005 award ceremony.

The award will be announced at COFES2005 on 14th-17th April 2005.

CADwire.net believes that innovation in engineering technology market is a key to continued growth and wealth generation in the market.

This website, which provides current and historical news and information across all the CAD industries, recognises future technologies that may impact the industry.

The award spotlights leading edge, but little-known, technologies that address key design needs and further the success of designers and engineers.

Iced-CAD from QSSolutions - Engineered Systems Group, now Deligo Technologies, received the Innovator Award last year.

"Last year, Iced-CAD characterised the kind of novel technology that has the potential to influence the CAD industry for the better", said Rick Stavanja, Editor of CADwire.net and CIO of Cyon Research.

"The Innovator Awards are about giving smaller companies with great ideas the recognition they deserve".

Candidate technologies must meet the following requirements: the technology must be recognised to provide a new approach to an existing problem or process; the technology has not been licensed or has not been widely promoted throughout the industry; and the technology has the potential to move the industry forward.
