A exciting new partnership between Cedrat and Motor Design Ltd looks set to transform electric motor design.
The two companies are now distributing each others software products worldwide.
Motor Design Ltd has produced Motor-CAD, the worlds first software package dedicated to the optimisation of motor cooling.
This software is now revolutionising the design of electric motors and generators.
Motor-CAD provides a crucial link between electromagnetic and thermal design.
This is an invaluable tool for companies competing in a market influenced by motor miniaturisation, energy efficiency and cost reduction.
Cedrat produce the well established finite element electromagnetic software packages, Flux-2d and Flux-3d.
They are also European distributors for Speed electric motor design software.
With the inclusion of Motor-CAD in the suite of programs available, the design engineer now has a access to an unrivalled range of software packages for electric motor design.
Linking into the representation network already established by Cedrat (Magsoft in the US), Motor-CAD will now cover most of the world markets, including the USA, Asia and European sectors.
Cedrat will tap into the professional expertise and world-wide reputation of the Technical Director of Motor Design Ltd, Dr David Staton.
