Seal extends service life of SAE Flange fittings

A Ceetak product story

Ceetak now has the solution to extend the service life of SAE Flange fittings with the use of a specifically designed seal designed to work up to 600bar pressure and under pulsating conditions

SAE Flanges have been available from hose and fitting suppliers for many years, but depending on operating conditions they have often suffered from leakage.

The traditional seal supplied by the flange manufacturer is a low cost standard O Ring, however, the real cost of a leaking flange is in lost production.

This together with the environmental issues from leaking glands is a problem.

Ceetak now have the solution to extend your service life of all SAE Flange fittings with the use of a specifically designed seal.

The SAE seal is designed to work up to 600 Bar pressure and under Pulsating conditions, (pressure shocks).

This would normally cause failure of the equipment.

The seal resists extrusion even when the flange 'breathes' due to its unique shape and hard wearing polyurethane material.

These conditions are often found in mobile hydraulic applications where shock loading is commonplace.

Flange manufacturers should also be aware the SAE seal requires less preparation to the groove surface finish and will operate quite happily on the RZ of <-6.3.

No modifications are required to retrofit the SAE seal into your SAE Flange.

Sizes 1/2" to 2" available from stock.
