Key to the new custom rubber seal and gasket moulding service is a free design and rapid prototyping facility.
This can provide technical advice and practical assistance on issues ranging from the use of the most appropriate materials to the best sealing profiles, compression sets, groove sizes, compression and fill characteristics and assembly techniques.
Once each seal or gasket is designed, prototyped and tested, Ceetak can offer high-volume production facilities for products manufactured in all common natural and synthetic rubber materials.
These include silicones, NBR, perflouroelastomers and HBNR, plus high and low temperature materials and those manufactured for special applications, such as requiring IP water resistant or conductive properties.
The new service will extend Ceetak's already comprehensive package of seal products, while enabling it to improve its support to customers in sectors that include automotive, food, packaging and electronics.
The company's Sales and Marketing Manager, Bob Parker, explains: "Our objective is to bring the benefits that come from the latest rubber materials technology and volume manufacturing techniques to our customers throughout industry.
In particular, we believe that we will be able to help customers improve still further the long term performance of their products and systems, while reducing lead times by offering fast turn-round on both prototyping and production; additionally, our production operations are certified to IP, DIN, ASTM and FDA standards, so we can offer guaranteed standards of quality".
