Ceramet Technologies opens high-technology manufacturing plant in Ballarat, Australia.

Ceramet Technologies has opened a high-technology manufacturing plant in Ballarat, Australia This means the firm's metal injection moulding (MIM) technology it developed and commercialised in Singapore is now available in Australia serving a worldwide customer base

Ceramet specialises in providing designs for manufacturing and advanced materials for high performance components used in the automotive, telecoms, fibre optics, surgical, orthodontic, computer, electronics, disc drive, printer, aerospace and military sectors.

Ceramet helps design engineers develop the ideas into prototypes leading to mass production.

The MIM technology and its capabilities have been instrumental in the introduction of complex designs and high performance material for automotive sensor systems, electronic packages, micro disc drives, micro motors, automotive safety and fuel injector systems.
