A Kenics KMR-SAN static inline mixer has helped improve the quality of a milk and cream-based alcoholic liqueur made in Ireland.
A Kenics KMR-SAN static inline mixer has helped improve the quality of a milk and cream-based alcoholic liqueur made in Ireland.
A mixer was required that could provide complete homogeneity - even with extreme viscosity or volumetric ratios - with the additional need for it be maintenance-free, without moving parts, and with no external power source or spares.
Manufactured entirely from 316L stainless steel to 3A specifications, the Kenics KMR-SAN also provided the customer with the advantage of having a clean-in-place mixer with removable elements.
Able to withstand the drinks manufacturer's requirements for use at up to 110C in a 7bar (maximum) process, the Kenics KMR-SAN static mixer from Chemineer has significantly improved the appearance, as well as the quality of the liqueur.
Also suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries, Kenics static mixers can be supplied as jacketed models to give continuous mixing, heating and cooling.
This hygienic mixer can handle both high and low viscosity fluids, with only low pressure drop in just a short length of pipe.
For industrial duties, Kenics mixers are available in a wide range of materials, including PTFE, PVC, FRP and Hastelloy.
