Mixing specialist Chemineer is providing better quality and more efficient processing at one of the world's leading producers of organic oils.

Developed for over a decade by the BHR Group, Cheminner's intrinsically safe and emission-free Nimix mixing system is ensuring that exceptionally high levels of product integrity can be sustained within a very carefully enclosed processing environment.

Capable of suspending solids until virtually an entire vessel is emptied, Nimix is achieving superior mixing results for increasingly popular organic products such as flax oil and canola oil, which provide essential fatty acids.

Operating in a totally enclosed, zero-particulate environment, Nimix has helped the organic oil producer achieve these superior results without impellers, and also without the worry of whether sufficient agitation is being achieved.

Instead, Nimix benefits from a diode plate at the base of a cylindrical vessel, which makes it ideal for variable batch mixes, offering turndown ratios of 10:1 for small batches.

For the blending of highly viscous materials, Nimix also provides significant advantages over impeller systems because there is no drop off when viscosity is increased.
