The ultra compact, high performance Robusgears from Centa Transmissions have lifetime zero backlash, high torsional stiffness and low mass moment of inertia.

The ultra compact, high performance Robusgears from Centa Transmissions have lifetime zero backlash, high torsional stiffness and low mass moment of inertia.

Seven sizes are currently available with ratios from 29:1 to 179:1 and nominal torque ratings in the range 111 Nm to 5450 Nm.

Capable of withstanding repetitive high acceleration and deceleration torques, the Robusgears will also accept peak emergency torques in excess of 500% for up to 1000 occurrences.

Three design types are available giving output options of a flange/shaft combination, crossed roller bearing or twin taper roller bearings in a reinforced housing.

The input can be arranged to suit most stepper and servo motors.

Based on the cycloidal principle with three discs providing optimum load distribution, they are particularly suitable for machine tool, satellite antenna and industrial robotic applications involving highly dynamic indexing or accurate positioning duties.
