Coupling suits diesel engines
Centax-NL couplings are suitable for high-speed diesel engines which are mounted separately from the marine gear and placed on soft flexible mounts.
Centa has released the Centax-NL coupling for use in high-speed diesel engines fitted with flexible engine mounts It suits luxury yachts, ferry boats and marine vessels for a torque range of 1.1 up to 25kNm

Multigear for high torque, low speed demands
Specifically designed for high torque, low speed applications, the Centa Multigear units operate in the 5,000Nm to 550,000 Nm output torque range with output speeds generally less than 5 rpm.
The Centax-NL product line has been developed in a manner analogous to Centax-N.
It is especially suitable for high-speed diesel engines which are mounted separately from the marine gear and placed on soft flexible mounts.
In particular highly flexible mounted diesel engines in the power range up to 2kW will benefit from the solution.
Centax-NL couplings fit all SAE flywheels.
The driven hubs are tailor-made to fit different gear input shafts.
The Centax-NL series provides compensation for misalignment in axial and angular directions and Centax rubber elements are torsionally flexible and absorb radial misalignment.
The secondary inertia of the coupling shifts critical resonances to low-speed ranges.
