Crane Process Flow Technologies has formed a manufacturing alliance with UK pharmaceutical fabricator, Axium The alliance recognises Axium as a preferred partner for welding and finishing operations to the CPFT Saunders HC4 range of sanitary and aseptic diaphragm valves

The HC4 is the latest development in the industry leading range of standard and custom diaphragm valves and accessories from Crane Process Flow Technologies.
"We believe an association with a specialist fabrication house is the logical step to follow a timely and substantial business review of the Saunders brand", said Marcel Verhoeven, VP of Business Development at CPFT.
"Having re-appraised our core competencies, we're confident Axium will bring enhanced capabilities and facilities in support of the HC4 range".
Axium operates from a newly commissioned 930m2 facility that is designed to provide a clean and hygienic environment for the fabrication of high specification stainless-steel components.
Axium's welders hold Asme IX and BS EN287-1 coding, meeting accreditation specified by CPFT.
Axium Managing Director, David Houldsworth, said: "The demand for high specification welding we expect from CPFT allows us to dedicate our most experienced specialist teams to handle the Saunders HC4 work".
