Desktop Engineering is the new name for CenitDesktop.

Desktop Engineering (DTE) Managing Director Geoff Haines said of the new name and status "Recent changes in the structure of the PLM supply chain and our role within it have resulted in Desktop Engineering becoming a Dassault Systemes value added reseller (VAR), as well as an IBM PLM software agent".
"This new situation has lead to increased business opportunities and markets for our PLM software and services".
"We retain our close links to Cenit AG, our previous owners, by distributing and supporting their manufacturing software".
"This enables us to capitalise on the new situation by providing current and future customers with levels of service that match their engineering and business needs".
This year sees Desktop Engineering reach its 21st anniversary.
