Training new employees to safety rules
Cardinus is launching its new online course on 'Health and Safety Induction' .
It is a shocking fact, but employees are more likely to be injured during their first month in a new job than at any other period.
To help prevent such injuries, and to enable organisations comply with their legal requirement to train new employees (Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations), Cardinus is now launching a new e-learning course called 'Health and Safety Induction'.
As it is online, employees can be individually trained as soon as they start work, rather than waiting weeks or months for a suitable training slot, while being vulnerable throughout that period.
'Health and Safety Induction' has modules on emergencies, workplace safety, use of DSE, employee health, personal safety and driver safety, with a test to ensure understanding and record course completion.
The training programme is highly automated, providing reports, certificates and scheduled email reminders, and a complete record is stored in the database.
Chris Baldwin, MD of Cardinus, says, "We are delighted to offer this new course which fills a significant gap in the provision of online training".
"The 'Health and Safety Induction' course enables organisations to train their new employees as soon as they start work and records the information electronically".
"It complements and integrates with our extremely popular 'Workstation Safety Plus' course and risk assessment to provide a comprehensive training package for new staff.".
