Bar turned nuts offer extensive customisation
Bar turned nuts offer the possibility of providing extensive custom features; variants include across flats dimensions, thread type, thread form, thickness of nut, constant pitch thread etc
Supply of pre-pack quantities and sub-assemblies constitutes part of the production off-line kitting process, further reducing production times.
Examples are for electronics where bolts are supplied with nuts already on, or DIY flat-pack kits where all the parts necessary for assembling/fixing are supplied together, even with special bracket sub-assemblies included.
Challenge can either source and supply all the components, or can use some self-supply components, together with components sourced by the customer; e.g a current loft ladder kit, initially involved just the fastenings, and the packing, now Challenge source all the other parts as well on behalf of the customer.
This is yet another extension of supplier/customer partnership developed by Challenge under their Quality Supply banner.
