These often difficult to source items are a well proven solution to common electrical problems of cable retention and control, ensuring long-term reliability of equipment.
They are used extensively for electrical connections in electronics/electrical equipment by original equipment manufacturers and installers.
These washers are formed in such a way as to trap electrical cables and are available in a very wide variety of sizes.
They are an established method of mechanical/electrical termination for all types of equipment from small electronic devices to white goods and large electric motors.
The specific design of each washer type is to ensure a secure mechanical grip and to provide a large surface area for electrical contact of the cable.
