Chaintech UK has unveiled a new trading name and company identity.

Chaintech UK has unveiled a new trading name and company identity.

The company will now trade as Chaintec and this simplified version of the current company name is accompanied by the tagline "the vital link for forklifts", which reflects the company's leading position in the market.

The new brand identity has been announced in advance of the launch of its improved Zi-Co chain, expected at the end of 2006.

David Hassan, Managing Director at Chaintec explains why now is the right time for a new look: "The company has always maintained a reputation for innovation and expertise and we needed a new look that reflected our leading position within the market".

"Our customer base now extends across Europe and in the last 12 months we have launched the Zi-Co chain and the new improved Zi-Co coating is on the way".

"Our new look is fresh and exciting and will be a feature of our expansion plans for 2007".

Chaintec has over 15 years experience servicing the forklift replacement market, plus hoist and conveyor applications and has a reputation for expertise and service.

The company's database of trucks, model numbers and OEM part numbers leads the industry and enables the customer services team to identify the correct chain for any unit.

This takes the burden away from the service manager and improves the accuracy and consistency of chain supply, so reducing downtime for each unit.

Earlier in 2006, Chaintec received positive industry feedback when it published the results of trials of its Zi-Co coated chain, designed specifically for hostile environments such as docksides.

Chaintec holds the widest range of chains in the UK, stocking 0.5 to 3in-pitch chains and stock items are delivered next-day in the UK and Ireland and two-day across Europe.
