Chain website targets export market

A Chaintec product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 15, 2008

Chaintec's website has been designed to make it easier to access details of Chaintec products and services, including new product illustrations and data sheets.

Chaintec has launched its website, which has been considerably enhanced and expanded to reflect the company's developing market position and growing product range.

Over the last two years, Chaintec has strengthened its position in the UK to become the largest supplier of leaf chain to the replacement FLT market.

Chaintec also offers on-site services through their growing network of regional engineers.

The new site gives UK customers direct access to their local Chaintec engineer and the full range of services that they provide.

Exports now account for around 25% of Chaintec's business and have been growing year on year.

To improve the service provided to customers across Europe, the new website has been designed to make it easier to access details of Chaintec products and services, including new product illustrations and data sheets.

The new site includes pages of information in French, German and Spanish, plus a direct link to Chaintec's Italian distributor, Leben.

David Hassan, Managing Director at Chaintec explains why a new site was needed, "We've been extremely busy since we released our new brand 12 months ago".

"Our export business has grown; our Italian distributor has performed ahead of expectations in the first six months of partnership and at IMHX 2007 we released our innovative Zi-Co chain in new sizes up to 3in pitch making it appropriate for large trucks operating in a hostile environment".

"These are key to our business and needed to be reflected in a new and expanded web presence".
