Chemical pumps are better by design

Self-priming chemical pumps save time and money for tanker offloading, chemical transfer, chemical filling, recirculation and process duties.

According to Chem Resist, using a self-priming chemical pump for tanker offloading, chemical transfer, chemical filling, recirculation and process duties will save time and money compared with using standard end suction pumps.

Standard thermoplastic end suction pumps have been used in these applications for years and have always suffered from the effects of dry running, cavitation, bad priming and operator error.

A standard end suction pump could be destroyed in moments if the inlet valve is shut and the pump starved of liquid for example.

The GV seal-less magnetically coupled chemical pump by design does not have the same problems as standard end suction pumps.

The GV can run dry for long periods of time, it can cope with air and liquid mixtures, it can self prime repeatedly.

So when choosing a chemical pump, if there is a chance that the pump could run dry, experience cavitation, have liquid and air mixtures to cope with or need to self prime then Chem Resist recommends the GV chemical pump.

The GV pump was first created in 1971 and today over 30 years on, thanks to 30 years experience, improved design and improved manufacturing facilities, the GV pump is better than ever.

The GV is available in sizes up to 440 litre/min and can generate pressure up to 26.5m head.

Selected materials of construction mean that there is a GV pump that can cope with highly corrosive chemicals too.
