A leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery was experiencing serious difficulties with loosening and dismantling of threaded parts caused by extreme vibration.
A leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery was experiencing serious difficulties with loosening and dismantling of threaded parts caused by extreme vibration.
Their problem was how to, cost effectively stop the parts from dismantling, despite a variety of thread sizes.
The manufacturer turned to Chemence and its RiteLok industrial adhesives for a solution, more specifically RiteLok anaerobic adhesives.
RiteLok anaerobic adhesives are proven technology, formulated to work under the most demanding conditions, proving invaluable in solving this particular problem.
Good communication and a close working relationship between the manufacturer, the Chemence distribution partner and a fast response from the Chemence technical team led to a rapid solution.
RiteLok TL43 was applied to the threaded parts and tightened into position expelling the air and initiating the bonding reaction.
Any excess adhesive remained liquid and was easily wiped away.
TL43's high viscosity and strength meant it could be used on the wide variety of thread sizes.
The manufacturer found the extreme vibration loosening was eliminated and specified TL43 on all their machinery that incorporates threads.
Parts no longer dismantled, the machinery quality became higher and reworking costs were dramatically reduced.
