Wilkinson was previously UK Service Sales Manager at SGI, where he played a key role in development of Service Sales, generating in excess of ?15million revenue per annum for the organisation by utilising his knowledge of both direct and channel account management.
He is looking forward to the challenge of once again making CHAM a market leader in the field of scientific software development.
Wilkinson's enthusiasm is fired by new challenges within high-growth companies and by developing radical business innovations which he hopes to put to good use in his new role.
"In joining CHAM I am taking on one of the most demanding roles in the Scientific Software business," he says: "The new areas of focus for the organisation will include consolidating revenue growth in the UK whilst expanding the business globally." The sales and marketing drive, led by Wilkinson, will include a total image overhaul for the company, aiming to bring the possibilities of CFD (computational fluid dynamics) to the masses.
