The world's third largest manufacturer of low-voltage electrical products and components, Chint has appointed Mark Guest as UK Business Development Manager.
The world's third largest manufacturer of low-voltage electrical products and components, Chint has appointed Mark Guest as UK Business Development Manager.
This senior appointment coincides with Chint forming a new company Chint Power Controls, which initially will operate from the company's UK headquarters, in Bury.
The newly created position is a direct result of the continued growth of both the Chint brand together with increased sales of low voltage consumer units, MCBs and RCDs and now allows the company to engage on its next phase of organic growth, by introducing a range of higher power products into the UK market.
Over the next few months, Chint will introduce a specialist range of high quality electrical protection equipment, such as moulded case circuit breakers, air circuit breakers and medium voltage power transformers, which bring together the company's extensive manufacturing facilities, combining inherent strengths and skills in product innovation and technical excellence married to the latest production equipment With considerable experience gained from previously being employed by Schneider and more recently Terasaki, Guest, who also has degrees in business studies and marketing, will be responsible for the expansion of the business, specifically in the sales of these new higher specification power products Guest said: "I was delighted at the opportunity to work with Chint at this exciting phase in their UK development and look forward to adding my skills and experience to help deliver the company's targets".
