Alarming performance from weighing scales
Adam Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
As a result, The Calibration Centre provides users with a single source for all of their calibration needs.
Commenting, Tony Walker, Director of The Calibration Centre, said: "Ensuring that instruments are sent for calibration on time, and returned promptly can be a significant time drain for staff.
The consequences of failure can be significant, especially in the case of production equipment.
By sourcing all of their calibration requirements through us, managers can ensure an extremely cost-effective service, and at the same time offload the time and effort involved in managing the process".
Service levels provided are extremely high, regardless of the quantity of instruments involved.
They are based around a service level agreement, and a customer service co-ordinator who provides a single point of contact for the customer covering work in progress and future requirements.
The Calibration Centre provides monthly calibration and repair reports, online work in progress reports, email calibration reminders and calibration scheduling.
The calibration service itself includes full collection and delivery, and can include packing prior to shipment, cleaning and the removal of old labels and even simple service items such as the replacement of fuses and common batteries.
Calibration is carried out to the appropriate National Standards at NAMAS approved laboratories.
