Centric Software has extended the reach of its 3D Collaborative Dashboard by adding connectivity to Dassault Systemes' Enovia VPM V4.

Centric Software is a Dassault Systemes CAA V5 software partner and developed the 3D Collaborative Dashboard to provide Enovia V5 users with the ability to collect and present key business and technical information in context, to track and monitor key project indicators, and to collaborate on new product innovations.

With this announcement, Centric has extended its 3D Collaborative Dashboard to provide Enovia VPM V4 users with the ability to collect and present VPM V4 product information in this 3D virtual environment.

This addresses specific needs of the entire product development team; executives can monitor business and engineering information across multiple programs, program managers are able to track progress against milestones and resolve conflicts while domain specialists are able to review new ideas and validate new product concepts.

The addition of this connector also enables Enovia V5 users to capture Enovia VPM V4 data in context and support the collaborative process across multiple teams including engineering, project and program management.

Customers can now leverage their investment in Enovia VPM V4 repositories of parts and assemblies, and accelerate implementation of Enovia V5.

It also enables collaboration between OEMs and outsourced design companies working together on common projects.

"This extension of the 3D Collaborative Dashboard will significantly benefit our VPM V4 customers by enabling them to efficiently integrate in context VPM V4 product information inside 3D War Rooms", said Stephane Declee, Vice President of Enovia Research and Development.

"This extension to the 3D Collaborative Dashboard offering is built on our OpenPLM architecture, and allows users to simultaneously access parts and assemblies from distributed corporate and supplier data sources", said Rajneesh Chopra, Vice President of Product Development.

"This allows information re-use and leverages companies' intellectual property assets".
