The Coleman Company, the world's leading manufacturer of outdoor equipment and camping gear, has selected Centric's OpenPLM solution to execute its global product development strategy.
The Coleman Company, the world's leading manufacturer of outdoor equipment and camping gear, has selected Centric's OpenPLM solution to execute its global product development strategy.
Coleman uses the OpenPLM solution to improve their gated product development process by enabling collaboration among its distributed employees and global suppliers.
The company also required a solution that it could implement rapidly to meet its aggressive product delivery requirements around the world.
Centric provides Coleman with the flexibility to deploy collaborative product development throughout its supplier base without setting up additional complex and costly IT infrastructure.
Using Centric's OpenPLM software, distributed project teams now have a secure web-based workspace to share information, co-ordinate activities, work collaboratively and complete projects more quickly, with fewer mistakes and improved accountability.
Additionally, Centric's OpenPLM approach enables global manufacturers like Coleman to integrate office documents, CAD, CAE, PDM, ERP and more, leveraging enterprise-wide content and existing IT infrastructure investments.
