Industrial control and switchgear specialist Craig and Derricott has launched C and D Direct, a new direct technical advice and ordering service.
Industrial control and switchgear specialist Craig and Derricott has launched C and D Direct, a new direct technical advice and ordering service.
The service will allow engineers, specifiers, contractors and purchasing professionals to discuss their functional requirements with fully qualified engineers - the solution may come from Craig and Derricott's core product range or as a bespoke solution.
Managing director Gordon Barraclough said: "Our recent research reveals that 94% of customers, distributors and contractors believe that instant access to engineering advice is an important factor when it comes to choosing a supplier".
"The key feature of the C and D Direct service is that it combines an expert technical information service provided by qualified engineers rather than sales or call centre staff, with the most respected rapid turnaround bespoke switchgear service".
"It means that switchgear solutions can be just a single phone call away".
"We launched the service as a response to customers looking for a simple way to cut through the familiar problems they often face with unusual or difficult switching requirements - sourcing catalogues, looking for products, calling for technical clarifications and then ordering from a different source".
Craig and Derricott is a major independent British switchgear manufacturer, producing a wide range of industrial control systems including disconnectors, pushbuttons, rotary switches, grabwire switches and foot controls.
Alongside its core product range, the company specialises in designing and building bespoke systems for a wide range of industrial applications, from one-off switches to major rail and defence contracts.
Barraclough said: "C and D Direct is the first port of call for anyone wanting to discuss switching requirements - whether they need a single switch or assistance on a large capital value rolling stock design and build project".
