Cimmetry Systems and QuadRite have announced that that QuadRite has licensed Cimmetry's AutoVue technology for use in its RitePro outsourced solution for Product Data Management (PDM) technology
Cimmetry Systems, leader in visualization solutions for the manufacturing and design industries, and QuadRite, innovative provider of PDM systems as a turnkey outsource service, announced today that QuadRite has licensed Cimmetry's AutoVue technology for use in its RitePro solution.
RitePro is the manufacturing industry's first outsourced solution for Product Data Management (PDM) technology and New Product Introduction (NPI) business process services.
This 100% Internet-based solution gives organizations all the benefits of collaborative product commerce with none of the implementation headaches and cost of ownership issues associated with running an internal PDM system.
As a new breed of Application Service Provider, QuadRite offers both software services and business process services tailored for discrete product designers and manufacturers.
AutoVue for Java is Cimmetry's response to the growing need for Web-based visualization tools.
This thin-client technology allows users to view and annotate over 200 graphics, business and engineering formats, all from within a Web browser.
Viewing and markup are important components of a complete PDM system.
By implementing Cimmetry's best of breed technology, QuadRite has significantly increased the functionality and utility of their RitePro product, providing a real alternative to in-house PDM or NPI systems.
