At the recent annual CIMdata conference in Palm Springs California, CIMdata released a new position paper entitled "Visualizing Product Information".
This report, authored by John MacKrell, senior consultant at CIMdata, outlines the business drivers motivating organizations towards implementing visualization solutions across the enterprise as well as detailing the characteristics of an effective solution.
In this paper, MacKrell provides a basic checklist that decision makers should consult while determining which products to consider for implementation within their own organization.
CIMdata prefaces the paper by encouraging companies seeking visualization solutions to consider AutoVue.
MacKrell states that Cimmetry has "added very strong capabilities for viewing and annotating 3D CAD data" to its products.
