AutoVue integrates with PTC's Windchill system
Cimmetry Systems, developer of Viewing, Markup and Collaboration solutions, announces the integration of their flagship product, AutoVue with PTC's Windchill system.
With AutoVue, users can open native files without needing the authoring application, view them and redline them, allowing for efficient and cost-effective collaboration on design and construction projects.
"We are very proud to receive the award from this respected and leading industry publication." said Brian Strasser, Business Development Manager at Cimmetry Systems.
"We have always considered our viewing solutions to be the best.
This award, received from an independent, industry source, cements our position as the viewing solution of choice for both the AEC and manufacturing markets." AutoVue has been a long-time recipient of Cadalyst Labs' "Highly Recommended" rating.
Reviewer David Byrnes refers to the AutoVue visualization solution as "the Cadillac of file viewers".
AutoVue is available as both a Windows application and a server based Java thin-client solution.
The Java version need only be installed on the server side allowing users to view and markup documents from within their Web browsers over corporate intranets, extranets or the Internet, thus enabling instant deployment without the need to install software or plug-ins on the client machines.
This is the ideal solution for publishing documents and drawings within the corporate environment and to the external projects' participants.
Many out-of-the-box integrations have been developed for several popular document management and EDM/PDM solutions.
The Java product may be integrated with online corporate portals and ASPs.
Some of the many formats supported by the AutoVue family are: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Catia, Pro/Engineer, Mechanical Desktop, Inventor, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, PDF, HPGL, Word, Excel, and TIFF.
