Cimmetry Systems has announced that AutoVue SolidModel, the viewing and markup program, has won the coveted editor's choice award from Cadence magazine.

Cimmetry Systems has announced that AutoVue SolidModel has won the coveted editor's choice award from Cadence magazine.

This award is announced in the December 2001 issue of Cadence magazine.

The editors of Cadence magazine granted the prestigious award saying: "If there is a viewing and markup program out there that exceeds the range of file formats supported by AutoVue SolidModel Professional, we haven't encountered it.

AutoVue is a flexible, adaptable program, offering many customizable options and providing highest quality 3D viewing and markup." The awards are based on innovation, trend setting and moving the CAD industry forward.

"Cimmetry Systems continues to deliver innovative and leading visualization and collaboration solutions to the A/E/C, Engineering, Manufacturing and Electronics design communities." said Pam Petropoulos of Cimmetry Systems.

"AutoVue SolidModel is the most comprehensive, and feature packed, native viewing solution on the market and it is extremely gratifying to have Cadence magazine honor this achievement." The award comes on the heels of a glowing review in the October issue of the magazine.

In that review the author John Wilson awards Cadence's highest possible verdict, 5 out of 5.

Wilson also states: "If you, or your organization, has any involvement in reviewing or tracking designs, engineering changes, and any similar documentation, you will want to seriously consider AutoVue SolidModel Professional as the engine for running efficient and effective projects." As an interesting note, the review included a long list of "pros" for AutoVue, but for "cons" listed none, a verdict rarely seen in Cadence magazine.

The Cadence award and review can be found in the December and October issues of Cadence magazine, on the Cadence website, or on Cimmetry's website.
