Kewill ERP has announced that it will embed AutoVue technology from Cimmetry Systems into its Jobboss 6.0 suite of shop management applications.
This latest update in Jobboss provides customers with unparalleled access to a wide variety of current office, CAD and engineering documents.
"The addition of this updated viewing technology into our products illustrates our commitment to continuously deliver solutions that meet the information needs of our customers," said Allen Peterson, president of Kewill ERP.
"We are pleased to work with Kewill and provide our AutoVue viewing technology embedded within Jobboss," said Alain Danik, Business Development manager at Cimmetry.
"This functionality makes it much easier for Jobboss users to distribute and present always-current data where it is needed and when it is needed throughout the supply chain." With the addition of AutoVue's market-leading visualization capabilities to its product line, Kewill brings to market one of the most advanced ERP and supply chain control systems in the world.
Users of Kewill's Jobboss 6.0 will have out-of-the-box visual access to their documents directly from within their familiar user interface.
Formats range from complex CAD and engineering formats such as AutoCAD and MicroStation to popular raster, vector and office documents including MS Office, PDF, TIFF and Visio.
Kewill continues to offer users the ability to electronically redline/annotate their documents directly on screen and save those markups/annotations directly back into the ERP system.
Kewill and Cimmetry also provide Jobboss users with the upgrade option of adding support for 3D CAD formats such as Pro/E, Catia, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Solid Edge and Inventor.
