AutoVue integrates with PTC's Windchill system
Cimmetry Systems, developer of Viewing, Markup and Collaboration solutions, announces the integration of their flagship product, AutoVue with PTC's Windchill system.
AutoVue is a thin-client visualisation and collaboration solution allowing users to view and markup over 200 native 2D/3D/EDA CAD file formats, directly from a web browser.
Integrated with FileNET's integration framework, AutoVue delivers access to critical content to users across organisations.
"This integration with Cimmetry will allow FileNET customers to derive even greater value from their FileNET system by providing secure access to document types unique to the A/E/C market", said Michael W Harris, Senior Vice President, Products and Strategy for FileNET.
"We are pleased to expand our relationship with Cimmetry and extend their expertise to our customers".
"Cimmetry has been a FileNET ValueNET partner for many years", said Steve Birnam, Business Development Manager at Cimmetry Systems.
"This new integration with Brightspire takes our solutions to a new level, delivering much needed functionality to customers requiring access to documents, no matter the format, from anywhere in the world, over an intranet, extranet or the Internet".
The upcoming release of AutoVue will be able to deliver real-time collaboration, enabling FileNET users to attend meetings with customers, suppliers, business-partners and employees and to view and markup documents, create change requests, and log and manage generated data directly within the FileNET environment.
