AutoVue now integrates seamlessly with Livelink CADManager, a new solution announced by Open Text this week to provide integrated collaboration and knowledge management to CAD applications.
AutoVue now integrates seamlessly with Livelink CADManager, a new solution announced by Open Text this week to provide integrated collaboration and knowledge management to CAD applications.
With AutoVue, users can view and markup AutoCAD documents directly from within their Livelink repository, with full access to all XREFS and reference files managed by CADManager.
Users can also hold real-time collaborative review sessions on those same documents using Open Text's MeetingZone solution.
AutoVue is available as a thin-client, server based solution and supports all versions of AutoCAD, including the newly released AutoCAD 2004.

Livelink users can then view those documents using AutoVue, mark them up, and save their feedback back into the repository".
Livelink CADManager for AutoCAD provides a structure in the Livelink repository to manage complex relationships between CAD drawings.
Livelink CADManager for AutoCAD provides seamless access to the Livelink repository directly from the AutoCAD menus, simplifying use of the system for engineers.
AutoVue supports 2D CAD drawings, 3D CAD parts and assemblies, EDA PCB layouts and schematics, raster, vector, hybrid and office documents.
Formats include: AutoCAD, MicroStation, HPGL, Catia, UG, Pro/E, JT, Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Board Station, Orcad, EDIF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, TIFF etc.
The Cimmetry website includes a complete list of supported formats and a full-featured evaluation version of AutoVue.
