Inductive proximity switches handle the
heat
A new range of inductive proximity switches is designed for use in demanding high temperature applications.
Contrinex has a new range of high temperature inductive proximity switches that is designed for use in demanding, high temperature applications such as furnaces, casting machines, foundries, heat treatment plants, plastic moulding machines, food cooking and baking lines Based on proven technology, this new range is available in M8 up to M50 sizes in both embeddable and nonembeddable formats

Inductive sensors find position in Hannover
Making its debut on at the Hanover Fair this year is the latest addition to the extremely rugged, yet highly sensitive, Series 700 range of inductive sensors from Contrinex.
The Contrinex high temperature sensors have excellent long-term reliability even under difficult operating conditions.
The compact and robust construction and stainless steel housings provide protection to IP67.
Depending on the device diameter, the operating distance is from 2 to 25mm in a range of models that is capable of withstanding operating temperatures up to 140, 150, 180 or 230C.
For all the formats specified up to 180C, the amplifier is included within the sensor housing.
However, the 230C models have a separate inline amplifier that is mounted on a Teflon cable 3m from the sensing head to remove it from the hot area.
The efficiency of these high temperature switches is not influenced by cable length and they can be connected like all other three-wire inductive sensor products.
All versions of this new range include built-in short circuit, reverse connection and voltage overload protection and are available as normally open configuration for all sizes and temperature options in NPN and PNP.
