Hoke Gyrolok compression tube fittings have been selected by Birkett for the latest models in its range of pilot-operated safety and thermal relief valves.

Factors contributing to the choice of Hoke were the unique features of the Gyrolok fitting including its controlled ferrule drive to improve remake life, a butt-seal to provide secondary seal and the Gyrogage, which ensures proper fitting make-up.

The Birkett Safeset pilot-operated valve is available in a variety of sizes from 1 x 2 to 8 x 10 in.

Pressure ratings up to 450bar and temperature ranges of -40 to +260C are also available.

Birkett has been providing relief valves for use in the process, petrochemical and oil and gas industries for more than 100 years.

A policy of continuous improvement ensures that Birkett valves will always meet current legislative requirements including ISO9001, ISO4126, ASME VIII, TUV, NACE and DNV.
