The R6000 Series right angle relief valves in both low and high pressure models have been designed to give users increased accuracy and consistency of cracking and reset pressures.

The R6000 Series right angle relief valves now available from Circor Instrumentation in both low and high pressure models have been designed to give users increased accuracy and consistency of cracking and reset pressures.

Low pressure valves covering 345mbar to 38bar feature zero-friction poppets with a raised seal lip that minimises contact with the seat to eliminate sticktion and an encapsulated seat seal maintaining a small surface contact and protecting the seat from erosion due to flow.

Six pressure spring ranges also offer increased accuracy.

High pressure versions covering 10 to 414bar have a Delta stem seal design that prevents friction while improving pressure accuracy.

A balanced poppet design ensures that the cracking pressure stays the same regardless of back pressure.

These units come in three models: Medium for 10-172bar with six spring ranges; High for 10-344bar with seven spring ranges; and Extra High for 344-414bar with a single spring.

All are available with optional manual override handle.

PED approved and CE marked, all R6000 relief valves are offered with multiple end connections to ensure application versatility.

Orifice sizes are 4.78mm on the low and medium pressure units and 2.39 and 2.08mm on the high and extra high models.
