Responding to customer requests for CAD models of its products, Tompkins Industries decided to offer 3D CAD models for download from its website.
Techno manufactures CNC x-y-z gantry machines, and distributes linear motion and gripper products - the linear motion control systems include linear actuators, positioning systems, linear slides, x-y tables, Cartesian robots motors and more.
Offering CAD models for designers was part of an overall plan to provide Techno customers with a complete e-commerce solution including product catalogue, CAD model downloads and e-store.
