Cadpo has completed the successful global deployment of i.get.it through General Motors' Knowledge Centre.

Cadpo has completed the successful global deployment of i.get.it through General Motors' Knowledge Centre.

Cadpo provides the only global, vendor-neutral learning management system to the MCAD/PDM industry.

The centre has been using Cadpo's training courseware over the last five years, but this is the first large-scale deployment of the full Internet-version of i.get.it e-learning.

In just the first few months of V18 transition training through i.get.it, more than 2200 GM MCAD/PDM users have taken over 28,000 hours of training through i.get.it.

More than 5500 hours were completed in the initial two-week rollout.

"Deploying i.get.it as GM's global MCAD/PDM learning tool enables the company to cost-effectively train tens of thousands of designers and engineers with little interruption to productivity", says David Fedler, vice president, Cadpo.

"Throughout our history with GM, they have pushed the envelope in their application of technology.

They have taken advantage of i.get.it's customisation features, using i.get.it's authoring tool to customise course content with GM best practices for a more specific learning environment.

They've added video tutorials to speed update training.

In addition, GM is using i.get.it assessments to measure student progress and assign credit for courses".
