iCheck is the de facto standard product data quality tool used by Catia customers in the aerospace industry.
iKnowledge Solutions (iKS) announces the availability of iCheck R4 featuring several significant enhancements and new modules.
iCheck is the de facto standard product data quality tool used by Catia customers in the aerospace industry.
Commenting on the latest release, Nigel Williams, Product Manager for iKS stated: "Our customers are really going to like R4".
"Every enhancement and new function is a direct result of their input and requests".
"Furthermore, in R4 we have repackaged iCheck so customers can now purchase only the components they require".
"New available modules include iCheck Interactive, iCheck Interactive Compliancy, iCheck Administrator, iCheck DataTag and iCheck QM [quality metrics]".
The iCheck Interactive Compliancy module is going to be a tremendous benefit to the OEM supply chain.
iCheck Interactive enables suppliers to use iCheck to be model compliant with the OEMs at a low cost.
iCheck Interactive Compliancy is one-third the software cost of its nearest competitor.
iCheck DataTag is the industry's first commercial "real time" document validation status indicator for Catia V5.
iCheck DataTag enables clients to attach a flag indicator to a Catia document specification tree and to be alerted when the document is invalidated as changes occur.
New enhancements include additional check capabilities around Catia Document Structure, Model Parameters, Materials and Publications and Class A Surface verification.
Jerry Miller, Chief Technology Officer for iKS, stated "iKS is serious about developing technology which enables our clients to acquire and re-use best practices".

Williams states: "We have focused on improving usability".
"iCheck R4 now supports multiple dictionaries, which can be 'customer specific' or a 'Catia' workbench".
"Customers can develop and install without additional service packs or waiting for the next software release".
"Likewise, iCheck AddOn dictionaries are now installable through iCheck Administrator with an easy to use import wizard".
iKS will be presenting and demonstrating iCheck R4 in the Incat and TechniGraphicS vendor booths at two upcoming COE events (9th and 10th October 2006 in Detroit, and 16th and 17th October in Wichita).
Incat and TechniGraphicS are iKS business partners.
iCheck R4 will be available on 6th October 2006.
