California Linear Devices has added a liquid cooling option to its family of tubular high performance linear servomotors.

California Linear Devices has added a liquid cooling option to its family of tubular high performance linear servomotors The 4020 series of C or D Models are now available with a liquid-cooled motor jacket for applications that require sustained high RMS continuous force control

The available continuous static force is increased almost two fold over the standard convection cooled motors.

Using a cooling system with a 25% ethylene glycol to 75% water treatment, users can obtain a static continuous force range from 761 to 2402N with three motor models.

Performance parameters and velocity curves are based on a 5C coolant inlet temperature and a 7.5 litre/min flow rate.

Datasheets can be downloaded from the California Linear website.
