Smart cylinders for mobile applications
Control Products claims to have the only smart cylinder developed specifically for mobile applications.
have had a number of limitations, due to the lack of a sensor suitable for this environment CPI's smart cylinders provide a 0.5 to 4.5V proportional analogue output via a new noncontacting sensor technology
These are standard mobile cylinders - no hollow rod, which means no loss in structure - and nothing protruding from the end cap, so they'll fit in the place of any OEM cylinder.
These cylinders are indistinguishable from standard mobile cylinders, except for the M12 connector on the side.
Stroke lengths to 80in are available, with no lower limit on bore size.
SL Series sensor technology is robust to shock and vibration, and a remote signal conditioning module with shielded cable is available, which is vehicle hardened to ASAE EP455.
