Due to its integrated cooling, a new compact power supply is ideal for switch cabinets or enclosures where there is too little space and inadequate ventilation

A well-known problem in switch cabinets or enclosures is too little space and inadequate ventilation! For such cases, the new PH251A compact power supply from Calex presents an ideal solution Measuring just 140 x 116 x 93 mm, it offers a high packing density and due to its integrated cooling, it can operate in any position and at temperatures of up to +70C

The PH251A is available with two alternative fixings for either DIN-rail or wall mounting.

It operates on both 120V AC and 230V AC.

The output provides a highly stable 24V/10A or 27V/10A.

EN 61000-3-2/-3 standards are complied with for power factor correction and flicker.

The level of susceptibility against external interference maintained by the unit conforms to intensity 4 according to EN61000-4, interference emission being equivalent to limit B according to EN 55022.

There is a mains input buffer, so that power failures of 30ms can be bridged without a drop in the 24V.

The power-supply output is resistant to sustained short-circuiting and idling (no minimum load required).

A thermal cut-out protects against damage, for example in the case of extreme operating conditions.

Electrical safety standards have been tested and certified according to IEC 60950/EN60950/UL60950/CSA22.2-60950 and are UL508-listed.

The PH251A is also available for customised solutions, along with all permits and certification.
