Calex Electronics has expanded its highly successful EL series of low-cost high-performance infra-red temperature sensors The ELAHT models have an extended temperature range of 0 to 500C, making them ideal for use with targets at elevated temperatures

The ELAHT units are available with 10:1 or 30:1 optics and have an outstanding response time of 250ms.

Their two-wire linear 4-20mA outputs can be accepted by virtually any controller, recorder or indicator without the need for additional linearisation or signal conditioning.

These small sensors have a rugged stainless-steel housing which makes them ideal for applications where cleanliness and hygiene are paramount.

Sealed to IP65, the ELAHT sensors are easy to install and will operate in ambient temperatures up to 50C.

For more hostile environments or difficult mounting conditions, a wide range of accessories is available.
