Sales of Clyde Materials Handling's dome valves are booming thanks to a new low-cost supply chain introduced over the last six months by the company.

In the last two months, Clyde has received orders worth over GBP 250,000.

Facilitated by a reduction in dome valve production costs, Clyde is passing on these savings to customers across the world via its operations in the UK, the USA and Brazil and its agent network.

Allan Wilkie, Support Services Director at Clyde Materials Handling, explains: "With our new supply chain fully operational, dome valves, which consistently reduce production downtime and are proven to be much more efficient than traditional valves, are now price competitive with the conventional range of valves".

"This opens up a new market opportunity for the dome valve for less arduous applications in the materials handling industry, for example silo/hopper discharge applications".

"Dome valves are simple to use and install and have proven reliability and performance when operating in extreme conditions, this ensures that customers come back to us time and again".

"The introduction of the new supply chain safeguards the Clyde dome valve's leading position in the marketplace".
